Roles & Responsibilities:
- You’ll plan and implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the continuous performance and reliability of our infrastructure and services.
- The enterprise solutions you work with span on-premise and cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on data collection, processing, and analytics using technologies such as Apex, Python, and SQL.
- Key responsibilities include managing deployments, upgrades, and administration of infrastructure services and other core enterprise solutions, using tools like Terraform and Shepherd, while ensuring compliance with security and performance standards.
- A significant part of your role will involve diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing proactive measures to prevent downtime, eliminate bottlenecks, and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Through automation efforts, you will reduce manual work, drive long-term improvements and innovation within the team, and reduce KTLO.
- You’ll also collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technology teams across infrastructure and operations to solve challenges and ensure continued operations and availability of our systems and services.
Qualifications
- BE in Information Technology, Computer Science or MCA
- Ability to work off-hours when required
- Experience with data management or inventory/deployment solutions
- Experience in relational database
- Experience In OCI or equivalent cloud technology platform
- Experience in maintaining software applications and infrastructure systems to include patching, maintenance, software installations and updates
- Experience in managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience Windows Server and Linux OS
- Familiarity with and ability to query RDBMS using SQL
- Experience in shell scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth technical troubleshooting
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to work with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
