Job Description & Responsibilities:-
The IT Service Desk (SD) is the centralized IT support organization within OTS Global IT Delivery, serving locations across America, Europe/Prague, and India. The team operates an omni-channel contact center to provide efficient, 24/7 IT support to Worldwide (WW) Operations (Ops) associates, as well as internal and external support for Amazon Lockers. Overall, the SD plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth global operation of Amazon’s sites, directly impacting the company’s ability to serve customers in a timely manner.
Effective Communication Skills: Demonstrates proficiency in clear, concise communication. This role requires interaction with Amazon’s internal customers, including teams from APAC, EMEA, AMER Operations, IT, and Customer Support.
Adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) is fundamental to maintaining consistency and efficiency in daily operations.
Basic IT Troubleshooting Competence: Able to resolve issues on various client devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners. Demonstrates basic understanding and troubleshooting skills for Windows and Linux operating systems.
This position requires a flexible work schedule involving rotational shifts to provide real-time customer experience in a 24/7 operating environment.
Adherence to OTS Service Desk Goals: Meets targets for Response and Resolution SLAs, CSAT, and effectively manages incidents.
This role will be based out of the Bangalore (BLR18) Corporate office.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma
0 months to 18 months of work experience.
Good communication skills
Basic Understanding of ITIL-Based Ticketing Tools and Monitoring Tools
Basic Understanding and troubleshooting skills on Network.
