Role Responsibilities
Develop and implement custom AEM components to enhance the functionality and user experience of our Web Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform.
Collaborate cross-functionally with design and back-end development teams to ensure seamless integration of the DAM system.
Engage stakeholders to gather and interpret their requirements, ensuring the DAM system fully meets their needs.
Work closely with the team to verify the technical viability of UI/UX designs and enhance overall usability.
Implement industry best practices and security standards to maintain site integrity.
Optimize applications for peak performance and scalability. Actively participate throughout the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience developing with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), preferably including experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
Extensive knowledge of Digital Asset Management (AEM Assets) is an additional asset.
The candidate should have strong experience with core web technologies such as Java, HTML5, CSS3, as well as related technologies and data exchange protocols like JSON, XML, XHTML, and client-server architectures.
They should also have a proven track record of creating custom AEM components for Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
A deep understanding of AEM’s building blocks is essential, including templates, components, workflows, touch UI dialogs, clientlibs, content fragments, experience fragments, GraphQL, and overall AEM development.
Additionally, the candidate must have a strong grasp of Sightly (HTL), Sling Models, Servlets, Queries, OSGi services and components.
The individual has the capability to work independently and handle both small tasks and components of larger, more complex tasks.
The person possesses strong problem-solving abilities, allowing them to effectively address and resolve issues. Additionally, they have the capacity to make sound, well-reasoned decisions.
